Covid19: 18 deaths across the state, 1001 new cases, 485 in Bangalore city

A total of 1001 new Corona positive cases have been confirmed across the state Sunday. 485 cases were reported in the capital city of Bangalore today and 3 in the rural areas of Bangalore.

Similarly, the number of cases was 93 in Tumkur, 46 in Bellary, 48 in Mysore, 14 in Dakshina Kannada, 20 in Hassan, 10 in Mandya, 23 in Udupi, 23 in Shimoga, 51 in Kulaburagi, 16 in Chitradurga, 17 in Dharwad, 4 in Vijayapura, 6 in Chikkaballapura, 3 4 cases were reported in Kolar, 20 in Chamarajanagar, 42 in Kodagu, 2 in Bidar, 1 in Koppal, 4 in Ramanagar and 3 in Uttar Kannada.

The total number of infected persons in the state has increased to 39,36,586. In the past 24 hours, 18 Covid infected people have died, according to the Department of Health and Family Welfare.

In the state of Covid-19 recovery cases, 1780 infected people have been released from the state, including 737 in Covid-19 in Bengaluru city. A total of 38,84,120 infected persons were fully recovered and discharged from the hospital so far.

Out of the 18 deaths registered statewide in the past 24 hours, 12 deaths have occurred in Bangalore city and cumulative Covid death count raised to 39,795 in the entire state.
